Turning Point Life Center is an exciting place to be! We hope that you have decided to make this your church home and be part of our church family. We have several tips for new members on getting started and getting connected at TPLC.

Focus on the following:

* Attending Services Is A Priority: Every service brings a different element that you need. Wednesday night bible study starts at 7pm and we focus on Christian Education for all ages. Bring your bible and come ready to feast upon God’s Word. Sunday morning at 10am and Sunday night at 6pm we focus on having life-changing church. We have music, singing, preaching/teaching, and open alters every week. Be sure to get to every single service you can, this will only help you as you embark upon your journey for the Lord.

* FORWARD Course: We encourage and promote every single new member to join Pastor Matt for a 4-week bible study. If you are interested in doing this, please share with an usher or guest service attendant that you would like to be involved in the next class and they will plug you right in. This course is on Saturday mornings from 10am-11am. You will receive a packet of information and be participating in a small group atmosphere in Pastor Matt’s office. This is a great time to connect with other new members through discussion, fellowship, and God’s word. Also, Pastor Matt is available to answer any questions that you might have about TPLC. This course has reaped tremendous success results and it’s always a blast to get connected with others. Be sure to tell a staff member at the next service that you want to sign up for the FORWARD Course, it’s offered on a monthly basis.

* Involvement Opportunities: We believe in getting connected and involved right away. There is something that God has for each and every one of us to do. While we may not be ready for the task that God has for us just yet; along the journey, we can allow Him to teach us important principles. One important principle that we believe strongly in is SERVING. We have a program designed for all of our church members, young and old, new and established that is called SERVE. This is an opportunity for all of us to give of our time, effort, and money for the well-being of others. We have set times where we will need your help making phone calls, writing letters of encouragement, making hospital visits, cleaning the church, volunteering for a non-for-profit organization in our community, and visiting the sick. Our city and county needs us to not be a church that sets inside of our four walls, but be a church that SERVES our community. This is a great opportunity for you to get involved and be blessed by God for doing so. We have many opportunities for involvement. Whatever your gifts, talents, and passions may be, we can find a place for you to get involved. We are excited about your journey with us at Turning Point Life Center.
